MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 1, S. 1991
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE SALE AND
DRINKING OF BREWED, DISTILLED, FERMENTED OR ANY INTOXICATING
LIQUOR IN PUBLIC PLACES DURING MARKET DAYS AND HOLIDAYS AND
IMPOSING PENALTY TO VIOLATOR HEREOF.
Be it ordained by the Sangguniang
Bayan in session that:
| Section
1 - It is strictly prohibited to sell and
drink any kind of intoxicating liquor in public
places during market days, holidays from 1:00 A.M.
to 12:00 Midnight and during ordinary days from 9:00
P.M. to 6;00 A.m. |
Section 2
- Any person, company or corporation who violates
the provision of this ordinance be penalized as
follows
- First Offense - Fine of
P100.00
- Second Offense - Fine of
P200.00
- Third Offense - fine of
P500.00 or imprisonment of 15 days or both at
the discretion of the court.

| Section 3
- This Ordinance repeals Municipal Ordinance No. 2,
s. 1950 and Municipal Ordinance No. 1, s. 1958 and
other ordinances enacted covering the same subject
matter. |
| Section
4 - This Municipal
Ordinance shall take effect 30 days after approval.
