AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE STONING OF
MOVING VEHICLES WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF GONZAGA, CAGAYAN
Be it ordained by
the Sangguniang Bayan of Gonzaga, Cagayan, that:
SECTION
1. TITLE: This ordinance shall be known as “An
ordinance prohibiting the stoning of moving vehicles within the
territorial jurisdiction of Gonzaga, Cagayan.
SECTION 2: REGULATED ACT:
No person shall throw
stones or any other hard objects at a moving vehicles.
SECTION 3. Penal
Clause Any person/persons caught violating any portion of this
ordinance shall be penalized as follows:
First offense - - - P 500.00 & replace the damage portion
Second offense – P1,000.00 & replace the damage portion
Third & succeeding offenses – P2,500.00 & replace the
damage portion or imprisonment of not more than six (6) months, or both
fine and imprisonment at the discretion of the court.
SECTION 4. EFFECTIVITY.
This ordinance shall
take effect ten (10) days after approval and posting.
UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED
by the Sangguniang Bayan of Gonzaga, Cagayan on its third and final reading
this 4th day of July 2003 at Gonzaga, Cagayan.
